Add A Supplement For Better Results...

We are so happy to be able to offer this amazing eye cream to our customers.  Now you have an effective and affordable product that can save you money and get you the amazing results you need all in a single cream.  If you are looking for a product to get rid of skin problems around your eyes like dark circles, uneven skin tones, wrinkles and swelling and puffiness under the eyes, your search is over because you have found it.

We have upgraded this eye cream with newer more effective anti-aging ingredients for even better results. Those new ingredients are Chrysin and EGF (Epedermal Growth Factor) in addition to the already great ingredients of natural marine peptides, Matrixyl™  and Matrixyl 3000™ as well as a potent proprietary antioxidant and blend of other special ingredients. The good news is that we used the 100% organic Algae/Rooibos eye cream as a base which is one of the highest quality creams available.

This cream is rich but not heavy. It is suitable for all skin types and it can provide great results for people who have mature, dry, choppy or blotchy skin.

Key ingredients:

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring acid found in the extracellular matrix of human tissue. Topically applied hyaluronic acid forms an air permeable layer and penetrates into the dermis thus boosting the elasticity by affecting the collagen levels and increasing hydration of the skin.

The protective breathable barrier on the skin locks in moisture which gives the skin a youthful appearance.  The cuticular layer of the skin normally contains 10-20% water, however as we age it can drop to below 10%.  Hyaluronic acid comes to the rescue with its unique ability to hold more than 1000 ml of water per gram of hyaluronic acid, which is a key factor in allowing the skin to retain more water.  Amazingly, hyaluronic acid adjusts its moisture absorption based on the relative humidity in the air.  It is the ideal ingredient in skin care products as it adjusts to the skin’s need for a moisturizing effect depending on the relative humidity of seasons and climate of an area.  Hyaluronic acid also protects the epidermis by scavenging reactive oxygen species generated by ultra violet light which would normally cause sunspots.  Hyaluronic Acid is one of the most exciting ingredients on the market today.  It was discovered by Karl Meyer in 1934 and has been successfully used in personal care and wound healing ever since.

Until the 1990’s the only method of producing hyaluronic acid was extracting it from rooster combs.  Currently there are two forms of hyaluronic acid on the market; one derived from rooster comb and the other derived by the fermentation of yeast. Bellahut only carries the 100% vegan approved material.

EGF is a polypeptide that has come to the beauty market via the medical industry. EGF was developed to help speed wound recovery and does this by stimulating skin growth at a cellular level and is suspected to increase collagen levels too. In some cases EGF has had an effect on the reduction of the appearance of acne scars.

Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone A citrus bioflavonoid that can prevent swelling and discolorations to the skin by stimulating the surface circulation of the skin and help to improve dark circles under the eyes, dull complexion and tired skin. The flavonoid compounds in Glucosyl Hesperidin are known to provide antioxidant, UV absorbing and radical scavenging benefits, and are also known to be effective in reducing external inflammation, building stronger capillaries, aiding vitamin c and strengthening collagen structure that helps reducing puffiness.

Chrysin Another powerful anti-aging ingredient that is similar to Hesperidin. This plant-derived flavanoid is well documented for exhibiting anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-carcinogenic and vasorelaxant capabilities that provide the vasoprotective effects as hesperidin. Some lab tests also suggest that chrysinactivates the enzyme Uridine Diphosphate-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT1A1), which helps eliminate pigmented bilirubin and iron deposits underneath the skin (aka dark circles).  For this reason, this ingredient is extremely popular with under eye creams looking to combat puffiness and dark circles.

Matrixyl 3000™ is an amazing collagen builder and is the trademark name for palmitoyl pentapeptide-3, one of the powerful peptide molecules found in the latest generation of high-end anti-wrinkle skin care products. This breakthrough ingredient stimulates collagen production in the skin and can even give BOTOX® injections a run for their money in the anti-wrinkle department. Matrixyl becomes even more effective when combined with other peptides. Researchers reported, “A highly significant reduction in the deep and moderate wrinkles was obtained on the side treated with 3% Matrixyl. At the conclusion of the study, the surface area occupied by deep wrinkles was reduced by mean of 68%. The surface area occupied by moderate wrinkles was reduced by mean of 51%.”

  • Reduction in depth of regular wrinkles up to 29%
  • Increase overall Collagen synthesis by up to 117%
  • Increase Collagen IV synthesis by up to 357%
  • Increase Hyaluronic Acid by up to 267%

Vitamin C (Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate) A stable vitamin C derivative that is potent and has the properties of anti-oxidant (protects skin from oxidation incl. UV rays) and anti-aging (improves skin elasticity by enhancing collagen production), is an excellent non-irritating skin whitening agent that inhibits skin cells producing melanin, lightens age spots, anti-inflammatory & soothing effects.

Caffeine To facilitate fat loss and reduce fatigue, intended to reduce puffiness and excess fat under/ around the eye, chin and neck areas.

Lutein The powerful antioxidant lutein has been regarded as a vital nutrient for eye health, the newer research suggests lutein's antioxidant action has a positive impact on skin health as well. Its benefits include bolstering the skin's natural antioxidant defenses increasing the hydration of the skin, helping to protect skin from potentially damaging effects of sun and artificial light exposure. A nutrient naturally found in dark green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale and collard greens.

Alpha Lipoic Acid  An extremely potent anti-oxidant that promotes healthy cell function, boosts skin's radiance and minimizes enlarged pores and surface imperfections. Alpha Lipoic Acid helps Vitamins C and E work more effectively in the skin. It has anti-inflammatory qualities, which can be helpful in reducing the redness associated with rosacea, acne and sensitive skin types. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, dull skin, puffy eyes and dark circles.

Tocotrienol is a potent form of Vitamin E ( considered to be 40 – 60 times more powerful than other Vitamin E derivatives ) found in vegetable wheat germ, barley, saw palmetto, and certain types of nuts and grains. It is used in skin care products because of its antioxidant properties, and is found primarily as a skin conditioning agent and UV absorber . The Vitamin E compounds in Tocotrienol protect cell membranes, active enzyme sites, and DNA from free radical damage, and therefore can prevent signs of aging including wrinkles and fine lines.

Astaxanthin Natural astaxanthin has been shown to be a potent antioxidant over 500 times stronger than vitamin E and 10 times stronger than beta-carotene. Astaxanthin has also been shown to enhance and modulate the immune system. These effects in combination or separately may reduce the acute inflammation reaction of the skin and tissue just beneath the skin that follows excessive exposure to UV radiation.

Lycopene is antioxidant and sunscreen in one, and is the best free radical scavenger and UV-light blocker among carotenes, apply lycopene products for 2-4 weeks then you will get the antioxidant, UV-protection and possibly other anti-aging benefits regardless of your skin type or complexion since it is at least two to three times as effective an antioxidant as beta carotene.

Application and Usage

Be assured you only need a small amount for the entire eye area as a little dab goes a long way!

This cream can be used daily or twice daily. We recommend once in the morning and evening for a twice daily regiment and once in the evening for a daily regiment.  Make sure to apply to freshly cleansed skin.  For a more dramatic result exfoliate once a week to help the product absorbed completely into the skin.
