What is Sea Kelp Bioferment?

The Sea Kelp is a type of large Seaweed. Its beneficial cosmetic components include mineral salts (especially iodine) and alginic acid. It is used to stimulate the general metabolism, increasing osmotic exchanges particularly in anti-cellulite treatments.

Sea kelp bioferment is derived from the fermentation of sea kelp using the bacteria Lactobacillus, which breaks down the cellular walls of the kelp, which should make the insides actually beneficial to our skin, it has great anti-inflammatory properties and is a soothing and emollient ingredient that should offer some oil free moisturizer and film forming on our skin.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring acid found in the extracellular matrix of human tissue. Topically applied hyaluronic acid forms an air permeable layer and penetrates into the dermis thus boosting the elasticity by affecting the collagen levels and increasing hydration of the skin.

Application and Usage

As a mask:

Apply a thin or thick layer of lemon brighten serum / mask to cleansed and toned skin, the nutrition from the serum will absorb into the skin in 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, rinse off then if you like you can tone again, then follow with moisturizer. We also recommend using along side our Vitamin C Lighten Mask ( Item# 190530270265 ) to make a power house lightening treatment home spa.

As a serum:

Apply a thin layer to cleansed and toned skin, let it absorbed, then follow with any of our moisturizer or cream products, this multiple use serum/ mask product is not to be applied under make up but highly to be used at night or in the morning as a moisturizer or after-sun care as sea kelp extract has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.
